We offer free shipping and returns to US customers.

Ground — FREE
2nd Day — $25 flat rate
Overnight – $30 flat rate

Orders are typically processed the next business day. Orders placed on Friday - Sunday will ship on Monday.

While we do our best to ensure timely delivery of your dresses, we are only provided with an estimated delivery date from our carriers. On a rare occasion, your package may arrive outside of the delivery window. Please contact us if you have any issues with delays or tracking.

For international customers, we offer the following shipping options:

Orders less than $300 — $30 (customer is responsible for taxes and duties)
Orders between $300 and $500 — FREE (customer is responsible for taxes and duties)
Orders greater than $500 – FREE, INCLUDING TAXES & DUTIES

We also offer free shipping inclusive of taxes and duties to customers in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UAE. 

For orders less than $500, international customers are responsible for any duties and taxes upon delivery. The limits for duty-free packages are established by your local customs authorities. Please check your local customs website for more information.

Easy Returns

All domestic orders ship with a prepaid return label.

  1. Fill out the Returns form here

  2. Pack your item(s) and invoice and affix the prepaid mailing label. You can use the box the items arrived in or another box if you prefer.

  3. Mail your package using one of the following methods:

    • Drop your package at a USPS location without waiting in line (the label is pre-paid and requires nothing else on your end)

    • Leave the package off at a location that has a daily USPS pick-up

  4. You will receive an email as soon as we received your items, and when a refund is issued.

 Returns Policy

Items purchased from Ava James NYC are eligible for a full refund if returned within 30 days of purchase. For US customers, a prepaid return shipping label will be provided at no charge to return your merchandise. 

Sale items are not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.

Return Conditions

Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unused, and with all original tags attached. Please be careful of makeup or deodorant rubbing off on the garment.

Refunds

We will send you an email when your return package is delivered back to us. Please note, returns do take us 3-10 business days to process upon reaching us. Once your return is processed and your refund is issued, you will receive a refund confirmation email. Refunds can take several business days to reflect on your credit card account. This varies depending on your financial institution.

Exceptions

Shipping charges on expedited orders are not refundable.

If you return more than $2500 in a 3-month period you may be subject to a modified return policy. We will contact you if you are subject to the modified policy.

Damaged Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, please contact us immediately.
